Medical Coordinator

Responsibilities will include managing the medical outreach schedule, assisting doctors and nurses, and working with local medical volunteers to organize the ship outreach initiatives. The Medical Coordinator will also serve as the liaison between the volunteers and the health authorities.  Duties will include gathering medical licenses and documents to provide to local health authorities as may be required for approval to provide services to those in need.

Previous experience onboard a ship, or in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of the healthcare and medical industry are beneficial, but not necessary. Good organizational skills, an outgoing personality, and an ability to adapt quickly in dynamic situations are needed.
