M/V Pacific Hope Making Waves on the Mexican Coast
The M/V Pacific Hope, under the operation of our sister organisation Marine Reach Global, is continuing its mission to bring hope and healing to underserved coastal communities. Currently stationed along the Mexican coast, their team of doctors, dentists, and volunteers is providing essential medical care, including dental services and vision clinics. In early September, they had the joy of witnessing 1,000 children receive corrective lenses, transforming their ability to learn and thrive. Access to clean water, construction projects, Bible distribution, and prayer are also integral parts of their outreach, ensuring both practical and spiritual needs are met.
Since the start of its YWAM ministry, the M/V Pacific Hope has reached 13 countries across the Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific, and South America. Their latest mission in Puerto Morelos, a small town near Cancun, has just completed two full weeks of outreach running clinics to address the critical medical needs of children and families struggling to make ends meet. At Pacific Reach here in New Zealand, we are excited to see how the impact of the Pacific Hope continues to grow on the other side of the world – helping the blind to see, the sick to heal, and lives to flourish.
For those of you who are in New Zealand (particularly the Tauranga area), we are excited to invite you to a special event featuring Capt. Marvin Wilson, CEO of Marine Reach Global. See the details below, and don’t forget to RSVP if you plan to come!
